George Anthonisen bequeaths his entire collection to The Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College

On May 16th, 2009, Anthonisen received the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from Ursinus College in honor of his many impressive accomplishments in sculpture and the visual arts. He joins a long line of Ursinus honorary degree recipients such as John Updike (his parents were both Ursinus graduates), Joyce Carol Oates, Anne d"Harnoncourt, and the late Andrew Wyeth.
